We had been out all day visiting family, and neither one of us felt like cooking dinner. We don't live far from this place. We've driven by it many times, and we've kept saying that we would try it out some time. We finally decided this would be the time. We knew they had plenty of craft beer there, so we knew there were plenty of options. This is one neither of us have had in the past, so we figured this would be a good time to try it.
Dreamyard IPA 7.1% ABV
Dreamyard, as described by Modist, is a hazy, super juicy IPA, with a malt bill of entirely oats and wheat, with Citra and Denali hops. This beer was named Best Beer of 2018 by City Pages Magazine
The Verdict
Sami: I really liked it. It definitely had a hazy look and juicy taste to it. I will definitely drink this again.
Will: I was pleasantly surprised. I've never had any of Modist's beers, so I had no idea what to expect. This was really good. I would agree with the super juicy part. Now I understand why City Pages thought so highly of this beer. If you haven't had it yet, go find it. You won't be disappointed.
