We haven’t gone out for dinner much lately, but after a long week, it was a good idea to go out for a burger and a beer. We are lucky to have a few places around where we live that have good food, and a quality craft beer selection. This place is one of them.
Bauhaus Crop Circus Double IPA 8.4% ANV
Crop Circus is a juicy New England style IPA, that isn’t as bitter as your typical IPA in this category. It had the tropical fruit and citrus flavors you would expect from a beer of this style. It certainly was a one and done type of beer, at 8.4% ABV.
The Verdict
The biggest downside to this was the high ABV. I could have had another one, but had to cut myself off at one. I wouldn’t say it was a beer that “jumped off the page”, but it was still a tasty beer.
